Students unpacked idioms through stories, images and classroom dialogue, identifying symbolic elements and cultural connections.

Students generated artwork using Poe AI bots, Tongyi Wanxiang and Midjourney, comparing how different prompts impact composition and style.
Prompt engineering
Learners refined their prompts through multiple iterations, adjusting descriptive vocabulary, mood, structure and symbolism.
Visible thinking & critique
Drafts were shared on Padlet for peer feedback using co-designed success criteria such as symbolism, clarity and cultural depth.
Bilingual reflection & exhibition
Students wrote bilingual artist statements explaining intention and cultural understanding, and selected works were showcased publicly.

春天到來了,溫暖而濕潤的空氣輕撫著大地,杏花在枝頭綻放,橙白相間的花瓣像是大自然精心繪製的藝術品。細雨如煙般輕輕地灑落在湖面和亭閣上,每一片花瓣、每一滴雨水都彷彿在這寧靜的畫面中找到了自己的位置,共同編織出一幅既清新又略帶朦朧美感的畫面。

Bilingual artist statement demonstrating cultural intention and meaning.
Assessment focused on conceptual understanding, creativity, and the iterative learning process. Formative assessment included feedback on idiom interpretation, prompt refinement, and comparison of model outputs. Students engaged in peer and self-assessment through Padlet critique and reflective writing. A summative rubric evaluated cultural understanding, creativity, communication and responsible use of AI tools. Several artworks received external recognition, including a Gold Award in the Generative AI Art Competition.
Facilitated inquiry, modeled prompting techniques, guided cultural analysis, supported critique routines, and encouraged bilingual communication.
